this morning my little EE had one eye closed.. other eye is clear. Should I put warm compress?

I went to the feed store and asked the owner- she recommended colloidal silver drops- I tried that and gave her some nutria drench- and a few hours later she was bright eyed. I don’t know if it was a scratch or debris in the eye..
