Help,2 week old Turkey,Broke LEG!!!!

What can I do for it.It is a BB Bronze .And it is just beginning to get pretty.But its leg turns out.And I can tell it is broke it is swelled and hurts to the touch,Thanks so much,Sandra

sorry for your bird, I would try to set it after making something to keep him off it. Good luck!

What is the best way to set it.I don`t know anything about setting a leg.If it is broke,would it have to be rebroke or what

Not sure how to go about setting it without seeing it, but you can use popsicle sticks to make a splint and tape it up after you get it set, and it will heal back.

Would I have to turn it the same way it should be.And then put popsicle sticks on each side and tape it together.Does that mean break it,sorry for sounding dumb.But I sure do hate to break it.
I know how it got this way I think,jumping up trying to get out.I finally took a piece of chicken wire and put over top of box.Last night I put it in some warm water in the sink for thearpy.But I had to stay right there with it.The little one seemed to feel some better.But it is not well.I just hope and pray it will soon get straight.Thanks so much for info.I will try to fix it this morning with the sticks,,,,,Thanks again Sandra Oh by the way,if anyone knows how to set it,PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!!

In the first placy, you would not know how to go about it.. in the second place, a bone has to be rebroken only if it is healing out of set..

Are you sure it is broken? not the hip dislocated? or what is known as splayed leg?(the most likely situation)

A BB Bronze grows so fast, that I doubt you could heal the leg quickly enough for it to hold the turkey's weight..

have a poultry friend take a look at it before you play doctor..

be prepared to dispatch it if you need to..
