help 25 one week old BR pullets

so ive got these about a week ago and am wondering if they would have mites or lice yet they itch a little havent been around other chickens or chicks there brooder is a new melon shipping crate with wood chips if its possible how do i treat them being so young

Just because they're itching doesn't mean they have mites or lice. They do get itchy from new feathers growing in. They groom themselves like ducks do. When they get a little older, you'll see them rub their little oil duct (don't know the correct name) on the very back of their back where their tail feathers start and then they will distribute that oil on their other feathers.

Have you actually seen the mites or lice on them?

That's a whole lot of BR's!!! I only have three but they are my favorites. Much more friendly and outgoing than my BO & RIR's.

she loves roosting on top of the mason jar feeders i got for the chicksyeah i know they preen but some of them are scratching with there feet the have a some of them have a few white specks on them but dont know if its mites/lice or maybe chick dandruff dont think they are hurting them right now but i wanted to know in case it got worse and yeah it is a whole lot meyer hatchery had a deal if you ordered 25 of there over hatched chicks they would ship for free and the chicks were only 1.35 apiece all pullets so i figured when they get ready to come out of the brooder i will sell about 10 or so how much will 5 week old Br pullets go for
