I decided to hatch 10 coturnix quails over the summer and the first months were fine until the males got more mature and were too rough on my females. I lost a female because of the poor ratio, so I tried separating the males into a different coop and now they have a crowing problem. I can’t do much in my small backyard and my neighbors have started making complaints, which is understandable so now I have no other option except to rehome them. If anyone lives in Long Beach, CA (near downtown) and has any interest, I’m willing to give them away for free. The main reason for their crowing is because of their isolation from the females so if you’re in need of some males, contact me. Please and thank you!

The three males are jumbo coturnix quails born in August 2023 and one born in November 2023. I have a brown tuxedo, and two Manchurian mixed.
