Help - 6 month old hens are now fighting with each other.

My two hens have been together with me since they were two weeks old. Anyway, my RIR (Thelma) has always watched over the Leghorn (Louise) and they have always been inseparable, but now Louise attacks Thelma and pins her on the ground by her neck. I dont know why this new behavior is happening and not sure what I need to do. They have been laying eggs now for about three weeks for the RIR and two weeks for the Leghorn. Any ideas? Thank you
