When I first noticed something was wrong she was laying down puffed up with one eye closed and her leg stretched out. I immediately went inside the closed/covered run to check her and I sat for a while to watch her behavior and the behavior of the other chickens.
She’s dusbathing, I haven’t noticed anything alarming with poop except some diarrhea (but it’s been hot and I’ve been giving more water) they all come for treats when called. But when she is alert one eye is closed. And now I think more of them seem sleepier than usual.
What is normal for older chickens as far as napping and when to worry? They were introduced to their coop About 2 weeks ago, could it be coccidiosis?
