The Update:

Ruby is doing great!

We were able to introduce her back into the flock. Gratefully, she did not have any problems with the others hens bulling her- (They all still remembered her!)

It has been one month since the attack:
(Sorry, she looks a little dirty because she was taking a dust bath when we took the picture!)

We took out the last of the stitches and she is looking great! We are wondering if we should put a chicken saddle on her before re-entering her into the flock? (So that they do not peck at the wound.) Her is a picture of here: BTW: It has been six days since the attack.

My favorite chicken was attacked by a dog.He put a hole in her throat so the food comes out there now.Do you think we could sew it up?
