I lost quite a few. (stupid hawk)

Please identify these 3.

The white and black one I would like to know if its a rooster or not.
There are no wattles.

You will see a Jersey Giant (black) that is a month younger chicken. Its a roo. Bought as a roo. This is the ONLY one that is NOT the same age. All the rest are early Feb babies.

My question, what are the breeds of # 1 # 2 adn # 3?
and is # 1 a rooster?

Thanks!!

Number 1 has always been more aggressive. There is NO crowing, from either bird, and # 1 is bigger than the rest. It might just be poofier..

Really?? whoo-hoo!! I am happy. They are just all so differnt! LOL

I thought with the tuffs on the ears of the solid white one, it was odd to be a white leghorn. So, I was hoping it was an amere..whatever.. LOL

The red/spotted one 'owl'-(-dont ask the kids named them...) I just honestly didnt know. I couldnt decide, there are no tuffs, but its a differnt red then the others, PLUS, it has the spots... ?? confused me the heck out of me. LOL

And your right, 'scar' (again the kids named them when they were brand new...??? ) is very pretty. Thats why I am hoping he isnt a roo..

I was pretty sure on this one being an EE. (thats easier than Amera... whatever) But couldnt be for sure. LOL

Beautiful chickens!! I have seen hens with a comb like your first one, it hasn't crowed yet? If it is a rooster I would think it would have crowed by now!! Hold tight, cause he might be a she!!! Good luck!

I am quite proud of their coloring. They all seem to be very nice looking birds. But the white/black (#1) one has the most beautiful tail feathers. And no, no crowing, and he/it/she seems to not be 'top chicken' to the Jersey Giant. She/he/it is still in charge of the hens, but not him.... ??

and its great to meet a fellow killer. I am actually on a roll tonight, asked 2 questions and got answers on BOTH. LOL

Wonder if I will get kicked out of the club? ;-)
