I just put my buttons in lockdown and candled them . A few had the air cell on the side and 2 are large. Is this normal? I'm so worried about them.

Pics would help. If it's been about 24 hours after internally pipping and still no external pipping you should put a safety hole around the center of the air cells. Watch out for bruises as well, those usually indicate malpositions.

Sounds like the air cell is saddled. My first 2 good hatches (from shipped eggs) were like that, some severe, and they hatched just fine. Just be sure they are placed in air cell side up
