We got some of our eggs today and I think they are upside down in the carton, what to do?? They are 2 are dark green, 2 are brown and 1 is a lighter green and it is very hard to see anything candeling.

The pointy sides were up in the carton of the brown ones and it very hard to tell which end is the pointy end to the green ones.

definately turn them big side up. Some eggs are hard to tell, but give it your best try.

Lets hope they are OK. Shipping pointy end up is really hard on them I've been told.

are you resting them prior to incubation?

then with the ones you're sure of, put the pointy end down
the ones you're not sure of, i think i'd guess

Candle to see if you can see the air pocket. The end with the air pocket goes up. That is unless they are really dark eggs. Then it gets difficult.

Ah! If they were not shipped you shouldn't have an issue.

The problem comes when they get bounced & blasted around during shipping. The air cell becomes detatched & tries to move to the other side of the egg.

If you picked these up yourself you should be OK.
