Hello, my 4yr old ameruanca mix hen has always been lively and friendly and loves people! I have started noticing for the past month that she has not been laying eggs or her eggs are deformed, today I notice just yolk and no egg shell. I have tried to put more calcium in her diet but she refuses to eat it. Today she has became lethargic, and she didn't even greet me when I walked up to her, and she turns away from me and faces the back of her coop. I tried to feed her she won't eat, I even tried mealworms and she just looked at them and turned away! (She has never turned down mealworms!) I am very worried and I do not know what could be wrong. I did. Buy a silkie pullet a week ago bc my Ameraucana hen seemed to be lonely but she just keep pecking on the silkie and being very aggressive. today she let the silkie get near her and even lay next to her. What could be wrong with my hen please! I love her!
