Of 3 eggs, 1 chick popped out, picture perfect all the way.
The 2 other eggs pipped, but haven't done anything since. They were moving around until about 7pm (PST)

One of the 2 still in the 'bator pipped this afternoon. Shortly after the 1st one was born, A CRACK APPEARED in egg 2 from where the first pip was and down to the pointy end of the egg. I know, that's not good. The line is red so I'm afraid to try and help it any. Sadly, the chick inside is peeping.

Do I do anything to help the cracked egg?

What about the 3rd egg still in the 'bator? Do I sacrifice the cracked egg and hope the 3rd one makes it? Leave them both in there and hope the one isn't infected?

Help! Please.........

This is how the last 24 hrs have played out.
Chick #1 zipped so fast, pushed the egg away and just started running. S/he's doing great!
Chick #2, who only had on small pip from yesterday afternoon. That one sat doing nothing all night, but it was peeping. It finally came out at 10:50 this morning (PT)
Chick 3#, the one I was so worried about had, as i wrote, what looked like a long crack with part of the membrane bloody.

I re-read the thread about assisting hatching and figured I'd take the chance on helping the little one, watching for any signs of infection. I took it out of the incubator, got a warm wet washcloth and wrapped the egg in it (away from the pip, and with a Q-tip slightly dipped in hot water (cooled way down by the time I used it on the chick). I lightly started working down the crack hoping to provide moisture to the membrane. Long story short...The crack turned out to be a piece of skin or part of the unbilical cord from the first chick. I did take blunt tweezers and squeeze away of piece of the shell next to the pip. Put it back in the 'bator and went to the second one. Just a bit of water on the pip membrane and both of them were back in the 'bator.

Until 8pm tonight is day 21. So, one born on day 20, 2 on day 21, and so far all is well. I don't ever want to do a hatch without BYC. There hasn't been a thing I've searched for that didn't show up on this site. Thank you for your kind responses!
