HELP apricot call duck walks like shes drunk and then falls over

why is my duck doing this , she walks like shes drunk , loses her balance then falls over onto her back she fine in water and eats and drinks doesn't look like shes broke a wing or any of her feet cos she can stand up but it's just when she walks. hate to see her like this please help somebody.

Is she a crested duck? They can sometimes have neurological problems.

Could be a deficiency. Try giving her some niacin.

How old is she? What does she eat? Does she free range? How is everyone else?

Shes Just under a year eating layers pellets and mixed corn she does free range and everybody else is fine

If she free ranges she could have eaten something unhealthy. In that case, some activated charcoal (not briquettes) that you can get in a pharmacy may help absorb toxins. I put two or three capsules in a gallon of water - just open the capsules and sprinkle the charcoal in. It won't hurt the others, either.

If it's her nerves, it may be physical injury or nutritional problems. Some ducks are more sensitive than others to diet. So to be safe, you could att 100 to 150 mg of niacin per gallon of water for her and see if she improves.

In any case plenty of fresh water won't hurt and may help.
