Help ASAP! Cut on side of head

I just thought I would update since I am so happy. Things are looking up great!

My little spud is now eating and drinking on her own. I managed to get her evening antibiotics in her by myself.
I gave her yogurt today but she turned away. So I left it in the cage with her, but then later I fed her some freeze dried meal worms and she ate them all up, with crumbs falling into the yogurt. Then before bed I noticed she was eating the yogurt with the mealworms as fast as she could. I didn't give her much but she ate it all.
On another note...the cat that must have attacked her is stalking my back yard. I keep running it off but it keeps coming back. I locked up my chickens and kept them in their pen for the rest of the day to avoid anymore injuries. I have looked for it's owners door to door in the neighborhood, but no one claims it. Maybe it is a stray. I think I may have to scare it away with a bb gun. I don't know what else to do, it's like it got a taste of chicken and is coming back for more.

The Doctor said it was a penicillan. He was worried I waited so long (3 days) to start it. But he said her chances of surviving are greater if she has the antibiotic. The label has some initials: SMZ/TMP and to mix well. The nurse said that it has like 6 different things in it to help with infections/bacteria but that they are all penicillan group of antibiotic. So for her weight (3 lbs) it is .6cc twice daily for 5 days.

The nurse must have been confused. That med is actually a combination of a sulfa med & trimethoprim, it looks like. http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=10646. But it may very well be a helpful med for your chicken!--I don't know a lot about that med.

Be aware that a bbgun can kill a cat, I would live trap it and take to animal shelter if you can.
Yes, I am aware, the gun has a pump so you can increase or decrease the power of the shot. I have tried calling the humane society but they have not responded. It walks along our fences and just jumps down on the coop/run and jumps back up to the fence, not sure how I could possibly trap it. I haven't seen it today.
