HELP ASAP I THINK MY DUCK BROKE IT'S LEG

Please help I think my ducks leg is broken it keeps hopping on one foot. When i got hold of it it didn't look like it had been bitten or punctured. HELP PLEASE I cant afford to take him to the vet or I would!!!

Use the search bar at the top of the site to check out "chicken sling." It's made out of readily available household items and supports them while allowing the splint and healing to do their job. You can lower them bit by bit to let them gauge how much weight they can put on their leg. I imagine it could be modified to fit a duck.

Have you identified which part of the leg is injured (ankle, hock, hip)? And I know you did, but I have to ask - Did you do a *thorough* examination to make sure there is no other injury that might be causing this?
