I think 2Crows meant to say "use your own discretion" - she wrote 'secretion.' Opening the bator to aid one may jeopardize the rest. Some who feel they must intervene - get the bathroom shower all steamed up and hot, and then carry the incubator into the bathroom. With the steam raising humidity high, then they will take out the troubled chick, close up the bator and put it back where it belongs. I hope things turn out well for you and the chicks.
