Hello, I have a new order of 10 Lavender Orpingtons I just picked up from post office! One of the chicks was just getting walked on. They are now safe in brooder, but this one will not stand up. Her legs are not splayed. But she has her wings kind of out and is just laying there. I tried to give her water. Any suggestions on what it is, or do you think she just won't make it, if she was trampled??

Is she eating? Moving at all? Sleeping? Appears distressed?
I just went out there and she did move from where I had out her by water. And as watched she tried to move again but just can't stand. When I tried to dump her beak in water she didn't care to have any.

Is she hurt or appears just like a moving lump of sad? Try putting some sugar in the water to bring up his blood sugar, he didn’t eat while being shipped, he could just have low blood sugar.

Pictures of her trying to stand or you holding her to stand could be helpful. I would start some chick vitamins, such as Poultry Cell or other that contains riboflavin on the label. The chick might have been injured, or be suffering from a slipped tendon or leg bone deformity. Vitamins help. The chick will need to be fed often since she cannot walk to the food and water.
