HELP! Baby chick scratching and falling over!

Late response: but for anyone having this problem- I had a weak chick, she couldn't balance when she had to scratch or clean... She used to do it while laying down... Her siblings helped her balance by standing mext to her... Now she is stronger and can balance by herself
 
Sorry it’s been a while! Sadly, that chick passed away the night I started this thread. She died in her sleep, there was nothing we could do. I did some more research after another chick had started to do the same thing, and came to the conclusion that they had a case of ear mites. I put some olive oil around their ears and dumped all their bedding. Haven’t lost a chick since. Thanks for all the help y’all. Sometimes it’s just a bad case of mites!
