HELP! Baby chicks dropping dead for no apparent reason

This is my 3rd shipment from cackle and they DO send great birds. I'm going to go to the corid idea. I don't think it's cocci, but I'm willing to try anything at this point. I have terramycin..should i run them on a course of this?

At this point you're shooting in the dark. Getting in touch with an expert through your county extension service is the way to go if you really want to get to the bottom of the issue and learn what is killing your chicks. How is your heating setup? Are you both doing the same thing?

Thanks Ron! I was about to say she needed to check brooder temps. I'd offer them some Rooster Booster (feed store), or Poly Vi Sol without Iron (pharmacy, it's for babies) in their drinking water. Check their butts for pasty butt. Corid is a good idea too.

I also would highly recommend checking temperature.
How recent was the vaccinations? Did they come vaccinated or did you guys do it?
I have heard of chicks having a reaction.
