HELP! Baby mouse!

My mom came into my room and said "theres a baby mouse in your sister's window" [[she has like an under ground window]] and it was breathing but not moving. So I took it out and put it in the woods by a rock and gave it some food [[cheese with peanut butter on it]] and I don't know what else to do. What else should I do??? I also found a salamender and put him in one of my ponds so he's ok. [[he was also in my sisters window]] THANKS for any help!!

Go check the baby mouse right away. If its still there & alive, bring it inside. Momma is not coming back for it. Put it somewhere nice and warm, dark and quiet. How big is it? Try to take a pic if you can... If its really tiny.. you need to go to the store and get kitten milk replacer and a bottle with small nipples (most have an assortment) and try to feed it.

I tried to save 3 babies (eyes were not open yet), but they are hard to care for. I would get the kitten milk and a syringe. Their mouths are not big enough for even the smallest bottle. They will lick the end of the syringe and it will come out a little at a time.

mice are one of THE harest animals to "foster" quite honestly if its eyes were open it will do better outside...
they stress incredibly easily and tend to just die from stress when "rescued"

Oh really

I think it might be either because its mumma got poised and it drank of her or it got cold and had no milk if you find any more feed it warm goats milk no dairy products though!!!!! And put in a little sirring or something

Thanks for alll the advice! The mouse did die but I'll keep that in mind if I find a mouse next time!
