I seem to be in some not fun times.
This time I'm posting about one of my baby roos!
I came home to tuck everyone in and found him near the top of the fencing squashed between where the poultry netting and hardware cloth connected! Some how it got loose and for some reason he went in there and must have freaked out. I think he may have broken his wing, leg, and possibly hip area... he scraped the feathers off both sides of his back and under his chin area.

Everything is closed and vet can't see till tomorrow! I'm not even sure i can do anything else but what I've already done....vitamin water and brought him in to a cat carrier with chips in it. He won't move and is shaking, i think shock? He wont drink from water syringe.

What makes you think his leg is broken? I see he's standing in one photo, that makes me think his leg is not broken. He may have just sprained it being caught and trying to free himself. Same with the wing unless he's holding it at some odd angle or something. I'd just let him rest and observe him. He may be better in the morning.

I had a cockerel that was attacked by a dog last summer and he wouldn't walk afterwards, he didn't have any visible wounds but every time he tried to walk he fell over and he was breathing very heavily, it scared me half to death. I slept with him in a box by my bed just babying him and worried sick. By the morning he could stand up, and was basically fine. I reintroduced him back to the flock later that day. From what I could tell he just sprained his leg and needed to rest it before he could put weight on it again.

Ok good! The one he won't let me touch is kinda swollen, the wing is being held at a weird angle, I'm just a very bad photographer
