Help!! bad smell in with my broody hen

Could there be a bad egg under her ?
should I take her out and check ?
she been sitting for 8 days I can't think of why there's a sulfer kinda smell in her little spot? she is all by herself in my feed shed didn't smell yesterday this morning PU

Are you sure she didn't get off her nest to poop? Broody poops are WICKED smelling!

She might have had an egg bust under her. Go out either now or tonight when shes roosting/sitting and check under to see if an egg exploded. Thats the only explanation that i can think of.

I'd lift her up and look, could be its Poo and Broody Poo is

Yes ..check her out and see what the problem is ...she could have broken an egg that was starting to rot or she could be sick so whatever you need to find out quickly

Just check Yup broody poop!

poop in her nest poop even on 1 egg. That was the smelliest

chicken poop. I hope she

don't do that again, and when I took her out to check she pooped again step in it had to clean her feet and the nest I did wipe the poop off the egg hope that was alright 1st time with a broody hen and only have had chickens for 7 mos.
