Help BFF is limping

BFF has started limping, on further investigation she has dark spots on the bottom of the foot and her back toe. The toe is slightly swollen and tender, it feels a little hard too. She is currently raising 3 chicks and really doesn't like to be handled but I would hate to lose her so I'll do whatever I need to. Please help. Thanks

It may be bumblefoot. Look up "bumblefoot in chickens" and a site called the chicken chick has some good answers.

Thanks, I wasn't sure because there doesn't seem to have much for swelling. I'll check out that site.
