Help? Big crop, clear gooey liquid coming out of beak?

You still have until Wednesday to finish the course of miconazole. Give it to her twice a day and focus on massaging lower on the crop rather than going up farther. Need to get her crop cleared so she can pass the liquid.

Here's another article that mentions a molasses flush and using dulcolax stool softener, if the miconazole doesn't work.

How does the bottom of her crop feel?

Thank you. I have read that article a number of times. The bottom of the crop feels like the top, all just like a balloon with mostly gas and bubbles inside. It doesn’t feel like there is much food in there just liquid and gassy. I will keep up the meds til Wednesday for sure, hope in time it starts to help

Ok, I would focus on massaging the bottom of her crop to get her gizzard moving. What do her poops look like today?
I am doing the regular massage still, focusing on the bottom. she closes her eyes and seems to fall asleep when I do it, and not sure if that means she's in pain or she's tired/weak. she just had one normal slightly wet poop over night and then a big wet one today and a cecal. she ate another tbsp of soaked feed and drank a couple tbsp of water while I supported her crop (last time every time she drinks it spills out when she puts her head down) and it was successful.

Watery poops overnight but more than before. She did drink a decent amount of water before she rooosted. This morning she was chatty and ate a good amount of egg, probiotics and some damp feed along with her meds so I put her back with her friends for the day. She is so much happier scratching around for bugs than sitting alone.

Hey Little Coop, how is your girl doing?
she's doing okay....I am not sure if the sour crop has fully cleared. I am doing one more day of medicine today. her crop is definitely still pendulous. I tried putting a wrap on her yesterday to support but she didn't like it at all and laid around so I wasn't sure what to do :/ otherwise she is totally normal eating and drinking and popping and can get up to the roost etc. so...hopefully she's ok? I am not sure what to do if her sour crop is chronic

It sounds/looks like she’s possibly developed a pendulous crop. And that you’ve been continuing to allow her to eat this whole time, if I’m reading everything correctly.

I’m certainly no expert, but from what I’ve read, one of the first things to do is to withhold food (only food, not water) for 24 hours. Then check the crop. Since she’s still seeming to have issues a week later, you probably need to look into helping her empty her crop by helping her to fully regurgitate the crop contents. I would look up as many websites and YouTube videos as you can about how to do it correctly to avoid aspiration. But if she’s that impacted, her crop is only going to get bigger and bigger and cause more and more issues the more she eats. And it seems logical to me that if the blockage can’t pass in one direction, the only other way out is the way it came in.
