I have 6 chickens (3 rhode island reds and 3 black sex linked). I just noticed this morning a little bit of blood in the coop. I got to looking and noticed 2 of the black chickens have spots towards their rears where they have been pecked and are a little bloody.
What do I do? I don't have any space to separate them but should I put something on the bloody spots? I saw somewhere to feed them more protein???
Any help would be appreciated!

If they've been pecked and have cuts...clean the wounds and spray blu-kote on them to prevent additional pecking.

Check your local feed store, or a place that carries horse supplies. It's an antiseptic usually used on horse wounds, but works for chickens.

Chickens are very primal creatures. If they see/smell/sense blood they go crazy. They will peck another hen to death if there is an open wound. Keep and eye on your injured, or seperate until healed.
