Help! Blood feather?

Basically I dont know what to do and im a little panicked.

Its on her butt and its a big feather

Should i pull or pack it?

Just leave it alone. Clean away the blood and make sure no one pecks it but it'll be ok

Ok thank you! I saw people say to pull and I just didnt think I should do that. But its cleaned up and she should be ok now, thank you

The only time I pull is if it is a very large diameter shaft and it won't stop bleeding despite all tries. Most of the time if you put pressure on it consistently for long enough, it will eventually stop. Sometimes using corn starch, flour, or blood stop powder will help. Then once it's stopped, make sure there is no visible blood that will attract pecking from others.
