Well thanks for all the advice.
We put up a new roost and I waited for the girls to settle and them placed him on it and every time he got up to be bossy, I pushed him down again. It took maybe 10 times and then he settled down and fell asleep. I stayed and watched and all seemed good. I think I will repeat this process for a few days. Thanks !
And APPPS. We don't have any children around. And so far he is not mean to us, And thankfully no neighbors complaints yet!
