HELP! Brahma injured because of meddling landlord!

I am so sorry for the trouble you had with your chicken. I hope everything is going well and she is okay. AND, I agree with the above post, tell your landlord that you pay the rent leave your chickens alone!!!

Thanks so much for the replies, everybody.

Just went out to put the girls to bed, Saltimbocca was sleeping comfortably in the corner of her little room but stood up and made some conversation when the other chickens came in and did their customary bedtime squawking. I opened her door to see if she wanted to come out but she decided to stay put. She seems to be very calm and not in distress or overheated, so I'm hoping for some improvement in the morning. Didn't want to disturb her so will be checking for wounds more thoroughly in the morning.

On a much happier note, I just heard the egg song for the first time! Sesame, my 16 week old BSL has been acting really strange the past couple days. When she came in the door to roost she stood really tall and stretched her neck out, then just let it rip! I'm hoping this means she'll lay soon, but do chickens ever make that sound in reaction to stress or something new? This is the first time one of them has been sick or injured. It would be just my luck that the "egg song" doubles as the "get well soon" song!

Glad your girl is doing much better. Sounds like she will be fine. I suppose you will be having a word with your landlord. I don't blame you. When you rent a house that means the house is YOURS and he has NO business being there. He can be arrested for trespassing. You are paying him rent so he should know this. Is he an older gentleman? Sometimes they can't seem to help themselves but if the he is young then he should know better. Good luck. Yes, I do believe you should post signs.
