Help: Breeding Coop/ Pen Ideas

I am starting to build the coops/ pens for each of our colors/ breeds so they will be ready in the spring. I would love to see some pics and hear some advice as we are just starting.

I have some portable nest boxes, but the chickens like to sit on them and poop, plus you have to go in the pen to get eggs. I prefer to just mount the boxes so I can pick eggs from the outside .
