Help! Broken beak!

Hello! I am newish to owning chickens. I grew up my whole life with chickens but this is my first go around with owning them myself. One of our chickens has a broken beak. I'm leaning towards clipping it but would love advice if you have any! Thanks!

I'd go ahead and clip it off, shouldn't do any harm in doing so.

Her beak is going to be really sore. It may hurt her to eat so she may benefit from her food being mixed with water for a few days until her beak can callus over.

What in the world happened? Hope you can fix her environment so it doesn't happen again. Mine cracked her beak once - still not sure how she managed it, but it grew out fast.

Should grow back like a fingernail. They grow pretty quickly, a few weeks will see a lot of improvement.

We keep cinderblocks in their enclosure so they can sharpen/grind down their beaks as needed. They're pretty good about doing that themselves usually.
