HELP!brooder heatlamp issue

Agree chicks should be outside from day one, my heat lamp is located in a section of my small coop located inside my main run

They have lots of room to roam and can go warm up when needed. If you do use a heat lamp make sure it is firmly secured, mine is attached with several zip ties.
 
Thank you and mine are kept in a horse trough in a spare room and only have the lamp to one side and the other side is cooler,they are doing much better!I keep the light hanging from a rafter so its very easily adjusted.I believe I might be getting the hang of this brooder thing,very much thanks to you guys!
