Throw your humidity meter away. Candle on the 7th and 14th day and compare to the pic. Adjust humidity to either catch up or slow down the aircell progression.

The humidity requirement is that which will result that is similar in the pic. Not what a book or 'forum expert' tells you it should be. It can be as complicated or simple as we make it.

Also what is the temp at egg level? If you're doing chicken at its 102 at the egg most will become balut before the hatch.

:welcome :frow I keep my humidity around 35% during incubation and the temperature around 100 (99.5). What kind of incubator are you using? The air cell will be smaller at first but as the eggs loose some moisture the air sack will get larger as depicted in the post above. Good luck and have fun...

She probably has a still air incubator.

That's why specifically asked the temp at egg level. If it's a still air unit what the temp is at the sensor is not relevant. It's the temp at egg level. Really that goes for all incubators.
I do have a still air incubator and I keep my thermometer at egg level. It’s at 102.
