help cant get humidity down

i have no water in my incubator and i can't get the humidity below 60% because the humidity is so high outside, it is very muggy and moist here. I have not put my eggs in yet so any thoughts on how to lower the humidity level

Do you have any of the vent plugs out?

60% is not going to hurt your incubation. If it runs at that throughout, don't increase the humidity at hatch time. They will be fine. Monitor the air cells with candling and make sure they are getting large enough for the peeps to zip out.

If you're worried about sticking to the numbers, then a dehumidifier is the only answer.
