I ordered 8 big bags of pine shavings and had them ship them to me from a city 300 miles away on a truck.... and they sent cedar shavings.... I didn't notice and then I was coming in the house and thought... oh that smells good....

Will those be okay for ducks...... or not.... I thought I read on here somewhere that they weren't okay.

Not good for chickens so I would assume not good for ducks. Their mistake so call them up and have them pick up the wrong product and deliver the right product. I read one post that said the fumes and another thought it was the oil. I can't imagine that it would be OK for ducks if it isn't for chickens. We used to use it for my sons pet rats years ago and we recently got two rats after a break and read that even for them it is not acceptable, repritory issues it causes even in rats. Good luck!

Thanks I called them and they are going to call me back. But I called the trucking company and told them to come get them. I know I specifically asked for pine, as I faintly remember there was a problem with cedar. The bags look the same so I didn't even think to look, but they are pretty fragrant for sure. I'm not sure I could stand the smell either.... Thanks
