HELP chick broken leg?

Pics
I'm not sure there is a 'right' answer for you. Some birds do ok, some do not. Kind of a judgement call on your part based on what you are seeing and how much time you have to put into caring for it. There is an old thread on here, pictures no longer show, on a chick that recovered and lived (did have vet care to stabilize the tendon), so it's possible. But again, up to you and what you can and want to manage. There is info here, and the link to the thread is in the section on slipped tendon "fix slipped achilles tendon in hock joint": https://sites.google.com/a/poultrypedia.com/poultrypedia/poultry-podiatry

We had a chick with a slipped tendon, we taped the leg straight after pulling the tendon into position( pull the leg backwards and push the tendon back over the joint, abit like a rubber band), then put him in a chick chair for 3 days with vitamins and b12. He is now a handsome 6 month old cockerel running round like all the other chickens with no problems at all.

For now I won't cull.
Chickie seems better then before ... still favours the good leg more then the other. Swelling has gone down. Active and keeping up with the others although I have kept them in the little coop for a few days instead of letting them mingle with the main flock till this chick can walk reasonably enough to keep up.
