ok so i had the first chick of this hatch about 3 hours ago now a different egg was only pipped I just looked in the window and the one chick has eaten almost the top of this chicks egg shell off then stops and snuggles the egg and then goes back to it. She isn't fluffy yet and i have 13 other eggs to hatch so I don't want to open the bator will she kill the other chick. plus she keeps rolling the other pipped eggs around as she wabbles around is that ok?

It came out of the egg didn't really hatched it was so exposed it kinda rolled out haha but its belly is all big and there is a little puddle of yolk. but no yolk sac on its belly. Is it going to be ok?

Gosh I sure hope so - I have no clue what to do. I don't have amny successful hatches under my belt yet. I hope you get SOME kinda reply soon though. I'm not any help, sorry. But, I thought I would let you knwo that you aren't talking to yourself out there. Help you get some help, thoughts, advice, suggestions, or SOMETHING soon!

Sounds pretty normal to me. Mine always roll the eggs around, peck at them and generally cause complete havoc. Unless you see actual physical damage, leave them be.

If you have to remove the first chick do it really fast and get the humidity stable asap. This is a crucial time for temp and humidity. As long as she/he is only pecking shell, it's ok.

Happy hatching!

The first chick that hatched will encourage the other chicks to come out. I would leave the hatched one in there. If you take it out your humidity could go down and you could lose the rest of your hatch.
