Help!!! Chick going down with injured legs!!!

I don’t know what’s wrong I haven’t done the splint thing I usually just do it for my splayed leg chick and looking at her I didn’t think it would help. Okay so vitamins I’ll get that as soon as possible I think we have something around here. She’s going to be like a 10 pound bird would it be worth it I don’t want her to die but I don’t want her to suffer. She was for the first few days of life because she was walking I haven’t seen her eat or drink I’ll set up a sling and put food and water in front of her.

First you need to make sure what is wrong with her legs, before trying splinting or leg hobbles. A hobble should only be used for splay legs, where the legs are too far apart. Has she been getting around normally eating and drinking out of the feeders and drinkers? You may want to do some research on slipped tendons, since that may occur in one leg and cause a swollen and irritated hock joint. Other problems can be a leg bone deformity, a vitamin deficiency, but she may have been injured as well. I would start her on some chick vitamins with riboflavin (B2) listed on the label. Baby liquid vitamins polyvisol without iron can also be used. Here is some reading about slipped tendons:

A chick chair or sling can be made by you to hold her up off the floor in front of food and water, to rest her leg. A sock with holes for her legs and a poop hole in back is good. Here are some examples of slings and chairs:
