HELP!! chick hatched with burst yolk and intestines hanging out

Put his rear end with all the yolk in his egg shell and rap him in a paper towel and see if he will finish absorbing the yolk.

in his egg shell? i threw it away...its in a bag in the bin. i did try that at fist but he wriggled out the shell 3 times!

Take a warm wet paper towel and wrap it around the chick, keeping her head out. Then place it in a cup, head up, and put it back in the incubator. The chick might still absorb the yolk, I’ve successfully done it. If it dries out and the navel closes before it can absorb you many end up with problems. It’s worth a try!

Then you should hold him in his shell I’m trying to think what you could put him in so he can finish absorbing the yolk!

i have put him in a wet paper towel. and in a little plant pot. fingers crossed this works.
it looks worst than it did when he hatched. he is so small aswel.

i put him head up but he was falling over so i have lied him on his side
