We had a chick hatch 2 days ago with an extremely small vent which we had a very difficult time finding and no tail that we can seem to find. We only noticed this when it looked like he/she had a bit of pasty butt. I saw and heard her poop yesterday, kind foamy looking stuff which just stayed on her back end. We have cleaned her off twice so far today but the vent is no larger looking than a pin prick and vey hard to find. Anyone encounter this before? If things don't change we don't expect her to live long. She acts normal other than not liking a behind that is wet for a good part of the day due to the extensive cleaning she needs. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
