Oh this doesn't look normal. This little one might need some more help than just vitamins, some kind of leg splints or something. Sorry I'm not experienced in this but have seen other theads with chicks legs going sideways, although not straight back.

So I've got a few guesses.

Is it a bantam? I don't think that really matters but we have had more problems with bantams getting on their feet than large fowl on occasion.

One time for instance we we're sure a chick was going to die but she pulled through. Sometimes their yolks have just been taken into them abdomen and can weigh the chick down or knock it over.

It may also have some splay leg but all in all I think placing it in a cup as stated above could be very helpful. Do not move it to the brooder as it is because it won't be able to get around.

I hope your little one gets better also vitamins or electrolytes can be a good idea but be very careful not to make the chick aspirate. Very very tiny drops one at a time.

This baby is a silkie polish cross... I have nutridrench that I can give and I just placed her in a small cup inside the incubator. I tried to tuck the legs forward under her so she’s sitting upright. They keep going back unnaturally. Thank you so much everyone for all the advice.
