My mother has chicks shes is raising from a day old (silkies) they have all been doing well then randomly she looked in and one of them was on its back? Its still alive, seems to be panting and seizuring? She put her on her in a towel trying to warm her up. Is there anything we can do or is it to late to help her??

How long has she been raising the chicks? What is the temperature under the brooder? Has the chick been drinking water for certain?

She has been raising them from a day old they are now about six weeks old, she said the chick had eaten and drank like normal, and she doesn't know what the temperature is I asked her what they are doing and she said her ducks are away from the lamp and the chick are under neath it. I am going to assume the chicks aren't getting enough heat. (Her brooder is in her house). Also these are little bantam chicks and the ducks are a lot larger than them so I am thinking that a duck could have walked on her or pecked her?

If she is trying to "warm her up" that must mean she thinks she is cold. But at six weeks old, indoors, chicks only need 70-75 degrees.

Yes, it is very possible that a duck trampled it. I've had similar things happen with broiler and standard chicks brooded together.
