Help! Chick not hatching....

Hi, This chick has been like this for at least 12 hours, still breathing, but not peeping, nor making progress.


I've helped chicks before, so if I need to help it, I can. But should I help it now?

If you do help it, go slow and stop for a while if you find a blood vessel in the membrane. Means it's not ready.

Where is the head?

Looks like you have already helped was the egg pipped before you removed shell and membrane if so for how long? Does look like all veins have receded I don't see any bleeding.

She is doing fine now. I'll update you in the morning,

Update! She is doing great now! We ended up helping her out of the shell, and when she came out, she kept rolling on her back so we put her in a container. She's now with her friends in the brooder!

New chicks do that the first few hours to a day or so. Glad she is doing well.

We were actually watching these chicks for our friends, and she did help it earlier that day! But the chick is now doing great!
