Help! Chick seems to be stuck in membrane?

It still didn't poop. Is it okay?
May not poop right away, you just want to make sure it 'can' by keeping the vent clear of any later poos or dried albumen.

It is absolutely normal for them to crash out and sleep often. - if you find them doing this after a few days with no improvement and when everyone else is up and active, it may have an issue.

I lost one at 1 week old that I'm sure must have had a hole in it's heart - though I didn't have a stethoscope to confirm. It just reminded me of a duckling with gallop heartbeat I got to check over at the bird rescue center. It had other things going on, but wasn't an assisted hatch. They don't always turn out perfect, unfortunately.

Upadate on the baby♥️
