HELP!! chick will not eat or drink also has leg problem

i have a chick that will not eat or drink. it is 3-4 days old. one of its legs goes straight behind it pls help

What does the leg joint look like - any redness or swelling?

I agree, if you can't get it to eat/drink, then it's not going to thrive. I would try giving 2-3 drops of Poultry Nutri-Drench twice a day to see if that helps with appetite. The chick needs to be hydrated. Once drinking, then offer wet soupy chick starter.

I'm so sorry that the outlook isn't so great. I hope you can take comfort that you've cared for it and shown it love, no matter what. I am pulling for your chick to make it and thrive. You've got some amazing folks on this thread that are always helpful no matter what. BYC is the best place with the best members. Did your broody hatch any other chicks? If so, how are they?
