Help! Chick with something coming out of her

Some times the umbilical cord gets caught on the wire floor. that can pull out the insides. I have put down paper towels in the past, but some say don't do that because they need air flow.

The incubator doesn't have wire i feel like it just hatched to early and didn't form well

It was my first time doing this and i wish i never have to do it again, it was very hard. Intestines started coming out more and was bleeding more but he is not suffering anymore i think it was for its best. Thankyou for the article probably the best humane way to do it.

I didn't even think to mention that, I'll have to re-read that article to see if she covers movement. It's just muscles relaxing, but it can be a little disturbing, especially for the first time.
You did what you was needed when the time came. Now it's time to focus on the rest of the chicks that need your care and attention.

This is one of the not so good things about keeping chickens. It's never going to be easy, I don't think it should be.
