Help; chicken breed and gender

Does anyone know what type of chick this is? It’s 3-4 weeks old and do you know it’s gender by any chance? Thanks

That would be a production red, or what some hatcheries call Rhode Island Reds. Considering the slower feathering, muscular body type, thick legs, and comb, you have yourself a little cockerel. His friend that is facing forward in the third picture is also the same breed and a cockerel.
