So I live in Minnesota with four ladies I dearly love... so of course I want more! Currently they live in a just under 4x4 coop and attached 6x18 run. I would love to get more chickens (like two or three) but I am wondering if it would be in my ladies best interests to bump up the flock. Any suggestions?

A 4x4 is the perfect size for 4 ladies as the general rule is 3-4 feet per bird. This does not include the space for feeder or waterer. According to your dimensions the outdoor space can handle 10 ladies when using the 10 foot per bird in the run rule. IMO if getting more ladies a larger coop would be recommended or maybe add on to the existing one.
