Help! Chicken in critical condition. Unknown diagnosis

Buttercup was found today with her vent very inflamed. I’m not sure what is going on, or how to help her. I’ve attached pictures of her vent. Please let me know how I can help!!

Prolapse? Can you rinse it off with warm water so we can see what's up?

Also, how is she acting in general? Is she eating, drinking, scratching, etc.? How old is she? Is she a layer and do you know when she last laid an egg? Can you feel her crop in the morning before she has access to food and water and report whether it is flat and empty? If not, try to descibe how it feels, spongy, like a water balloon, hard, etc. This info will help our educators help you.
