I just noted one of my girls was wobbly this morning. I went to pick her up because she fell trying to get into the coop. When I picked her up she was skin and bones. I had noticed some watery poo but in retrospect could have been diarrhea. Her vent area is clean. She is going through a molt so I had been trying to avoid holding her but now wish I had checked her out earlier. Her crop is empty and she is not hiding out in the nesting box. I gave her some nutridrench as she is not eating. Tried giving her live mealworms and tried giving her favorite sunflower seeds but she was not interested. Any ideas?!?!?!? I feel like she is dangerously thing... any suggestions!! Thank you

Sounds like there's something really wrong with her. Unfortunately chickens hide symptoms of illness very well, and unfortunately many times there's not much you can do. Taking her to the vet would be your best option at this point.

I am boiling the eggs as we speak. I just gave her the Nutri Drench straight out of desperation. She is only 2. Checked for mites/lice and everything looked good. No worms in any poop that I can see. I am switching the water our with Corid just in case.... but don't know what else to do....

Problem is I can't get her to eat....

I could but last time I did that they charged me extra for an exotic animal fee.... and it wasn't cheap but he was the only vet that sees chickens in my area. I'll see if she eats the eggs

I don't think a picture would help of her because you can't tell until you pick her up. When I hold her all i feel are her bones.

I gave her a Corid Drench. Tried to give her some egg and yogurt which was a no go. But I watch her drink a lot of water so that's good.

Possible coccidiosis
Could be so I am treating her for it and did a Corid drench. I will get higher protein feed tomorrow. None of the feed stores are open today :hmm

I wanted her to eat something so she did eat some bread and now is sun bathing so hopefully the NutriDrench will bring her appetite up too.
