I have a chicken that went through fowl pox (dry) and now she’s dealing with the scabs on her head etc. and every time I think they’re healing up, she starts bleeding because she reopens them with her nails Anything I can do? I’m spraying MicrocynAH on her wound areas, but it’s the contact scratching that I don’t know what to do about. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Please post some photos.

The nose is the main one she keeps getting at.

Looks like scabs from injury/pecking. The one on the beak likely is from reaching through wire fencing or possibly from a sharp edge on a feeder.

You see her scratching at them? Could possibly the other chickens be picking the scab and re-opening them?
If she's scratching them, then apply something more moisturizing than MicrocynAH. Triple antibiotic ointment would work. Or you can rub a bit of Arnica cream into the scabs.
